Polluted Perception of Time
How has mankind polluted the perception of time? Do we know how long has this process taken? How has this affected our business? What has this done to our health and lifestyle?
Time as we have chosen to know it, has become our ruler. We have converted time to a cruel dictator of our fate.
Today we have Deadlines and we credit them to Time. We have court appearance dates and we have retrenchment dates. What about the disciplinary hearing dates? We call these the workings of Time.
We have forgotten that Man has polluted everything including time. Man has filled time with a lot of man made “Judgement Days”. Therefore we can no longer find any breathing space in time.
Man has given us 45hrs per week to work. Man has taken all our year and has given us 21 leave days. This mean we only have 21 days in a year to make our own decisions.
Governments and religions have also filled time with their dates of remembrances and commemorations. We are left with almost no time to call our own.
Those with more money have filled calendars with their names of the months. They have designed project management filled with this time we all need.
Man has polluted time more than any other creation of God and time has become an enemy to the man on the ground.
Even those who call us to come and converge to have ‘time with God’ are later revealing to be serving their denominational and self interests above the main interest which is God.
We no longer have understanding of time as God has given to us. One thing is clear, those who have dominion have forcibly taken all time for the weak to serve their interests.
Beginnings and Identity of time
For the slave and the servant, time has become a prison in itself. For the prisoner time has become a container of his or her sentence. What was God’s purpose for time to us?
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Genesis 1:1 – 3 NKJV
These beginnings are not beginnings of time as we know time. In fact God created time and it has no power as much as we have decided to give to it.
These are beginnings of the three dimensional existence as we have been permitted to understand it. Our narrative of history and understanding is limited to our three dimensional perception.
In these beginnings there is light which is commanded to manifest. In addition we learn later in verse 4 that this light was not the Sunlight or the Moonlight. Therefore in the presence of this Light, time has not been created yet.
We have missed somewhere the correct understanding and relationship with time. Those who understand time rule over those who have no understanding of time.
Time is sacred; however we don’t need to worship but understand it. We can claim back our time, for in our lack of understanding thereof we lost it to those who understand it.
Let us hear tomorrow about the real birth of time which God eventually gave to us as a ‘Present’. Have a good day. The Grace of our Lord be with you.
